Enjoy all ESSEC has to offer

If you are enrolled in the Master in Management program, you can choose between starting your first year at the ESSEC France Campus or at the ESSEC Asia Pacific Campus. Depending on your choice, the curriculum of the first year changes.

You will get all the basics you need through the 9 compulsory core modules and choose to specialize or not, by taking a minimum 16 elective courses.

The Core Track’s 9 mandatory courses can be taken on either ESSEC campus:

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Management Control

  • Business Economics

  • Principles of Finance

  • Law or Operations

  • Organizational Theory & Behaviour

  • Marketing Management

  • Strategy & Management

  • Information Systems/Technology (IS/IT) for Managers

You also have to study a foreign language during your time at the school. If you are a non-native French speaker, you will study French. You are also free to study additional languages: German, Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian.

To really be competitive on the job market as a young graduate, you will already be up-and-running and ready-to-go having had a minimum 18 months of work experience.

Students can choose to do:

  • Internships

  • Work contracts

  • Create your own company

  • VIE-VIA (Available only to EU citizens under the age of 28)

Please note that professional experience obtained before coming to ESSEC can be validated as part of the required 18 months.

In today’s globalized workplace, just being a good leader is no longer sufficient; you have to be able to work in multicultural and multi-linguistic teams.

The Master in Management program integrates a minimum of 9 months of international exposure, whether it be through your studies and/or work experience, to equip you with the experience and knowledge to become a global manager.

These 9 months of international exposure should be outside of your country of origin (nationality/residence) and this can be done through work or study.

  • bi-campus - study at one or both of our ESSEC campuses in France and Singapore

  • exchange program - spend a semester or two at one of our 90 partner universities worldwide

  • double degree program - become fully immersed in another culture and country, acquire two sets of competencies and experience two ways of learning through one of 12 double degree programs.

Please note that professional experience obtained before coming to ESSEC can be validated as part of the required 18 months.

ESSEC offers its students various possibilities for financing their studies.

The various financing options include:
