在本次大师课中,Denis Morisset 教授将解读奢华旅行目的地的概念,以及他们在亚洲市场如何代表奢侈品品牌来触及和服务高端消费者,尤其是高净资产人士。疫情之后,随着许多国家/地区取消旅行限制,客户对豪华旅行、豪华体验、豪华酒店和豪华房地产投资的兴趣日益浓厚,这使人们重新开始关注豪华目的地的品牌和营销。Morisset教授将首先分享他对奢华旅行目的地概念的研究。他将解读以法国里维埃拉等传统西方豪华目的地、瑞士的格施塔德和圣莫里茨等度假胜地的文化基础,以及伦敦梅菲尔、洛杉矶比佛利山庄的动态。同时,他将就读新兴市场中的中东和东南亚(新加坡)的奢侈旅行目的地的发展。以及奢侈品行业相关的衍生行业(比如豪华房地产、豪华酒店,以及奢侈品零售和艺术世界)越来越多的发展机会。在最后一部分,他将重新定义豪华和高档旅行目的地的区别,并分析中国奢侈旅行目的地的品牌发展情况。

Decoding Luxury Destinations Branding

In this masterclass, Prof. Denis Morisset will decode the concept of luxury destinations and the opportunity they represent in Asia for luxury brands in their efforts to reach and engage with wealthy consumers and UHNWI in particular.As travel restrictions have been waived in many countries, the rising interest of wealthy clients for luxury travel, luxury experience, luxury hotels and luxury real estate investments bring back the attention on the branding and marketing of luxury destinations.Prof. Morisset will firstly share his research on the concept of luxury destinations. He will decode the cultural foundations of traditional western luxury destinations like the French Riviera, Swiss jet set resorts like Gstaad and Saint Moritz, but also what have been the dynamics of Mayfair in London, Beverly Hills in LA. He will then explain how and why luxury destinations in the Middle East and SouthEast Asia (Singapore) represent a growing opportunity for different actors of the luxury industry, namely luxury real estate, luxury hotels, but also luxury retail and the world of arts. In the last part he will distinguish luxury and premium destinations and address the situation of destination branding in China.

Denis Morisset 教授在奢侈时尚行业拥有超过25 年的经验。在加入ESSEC 之前,他曾在Ralph Lauren、PierreBalmain 和Giorgio Armani 等知名品牌担任高级管理职位。2004年,他开始了他的教授职业生涯,在ESSEC商学院(巴黎和新加坡)担任奢侈品营销教授,专攻奢侈品品牌管理、奢侈品分销和零售、奢侈品服务、豪华酒店管理和豪华宾客体验。自2011 年以来,Morisset教授每年在中国工作六个月,同时还是ESSEC 在北京、上海和香港等合作商学院(北京大学,上海复旦大学和香港大学)的客座教授。2020年,他被公认为顶级奢侈品影响者之一,并定期在中国知名的社交媒体平台Bilibili哔哩哔哩、小红书和领英上制作奢侈品品牌管理内容。
Prof. Denis Morisset worked for 25 years in the luxury fashion industry (Ralph Lauren, Pierre Balmain, Giorgio Armani, etc.). In 2004, he started a new career as a luxury marketing professor at ESSEC Business School (Paris and Singapore), specializing in luxury brand management, luxury distribution and retail, luxury service, luxury hotel management, and luxury guest experience. Based in China six months per year, Prof. Morisset is also a visiting professor in ESSEC’s partner business schools in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
