Housing in Singapore
The ESSEC Asia-Pacific Nepal Hill campus is located in the heart of one-north, an R&D and high technology cluster situated at the West side of Singapore. The campus is conveniently located near to one-north Mass Rapid Transit station, making it easy to travel around via the Circle Line of the MRT.
Housing areas in the vicinity include Buona Vista, Holland Drive, Clementi and Jurong.
Students arriving from outside Singapore are advised to arrive early in Singapore and allow 1 to 2 weeks to seek and secure accommodations.
OPTIONS FOR ACCOMODATIONS INCLUDE:
Sharing an apartment in a condominium
- Usually 3 or 4 students per apartment
- On average 1000 - 1300 SGD per month per student
- Condominiums usually come with facilities such as security guards, swimming pool, gym etc.
Renting an apartment will cost approximately between SGD 4000 – SGD 5000 per apartment (depending on the location, size and condition of the apartment);
Apartments situated nearer the MRT stations will cost more.
Sharing an apartment in a HDB flat

- Cost Effective, common facilities
With monthly rent ranging from SGD 400 – SGD 1000, student hostels and boarding schools are another option which you could consider when looking for accommodation in Singapore.
Family Stay (Au Pair)
Au Pair refers to getting free rental in exchange of tuition or baby-sitting services (depending on your agreement). This is a free option, but you are advised to be diligent in defining the terms of your agreement and be careful to consider any time or other constraints it may impose.
